Fremont Disappearance “Possibly Murder”

Police are now treating the disappearance of local woman Sally Fremont, 22, as a possible murder investigation. Ms Fremont disappeared on the night of 11 July after leaving the Dixie Dance Hall on Crockett Street. Authorities released a short statement explaining that the investigation had been upgraded from a missing person investigation given the length of time without news and the lack of reason for Ms Fremont to leave her home. They have also re-released a photograph of Ms Fremont and called on any member of the public to come forward with any information.

White Supremacists Released

Three members of the “Fathers of the Volk” white supremacist group who were arrested two weeks ago have been released without charge. Police accepted that there was insufficient evidence to charge the men in connection with the neo-Nazi symbols. The men released a statement: “This is an example of police persecution of a group that engages in legal free speech, simply because of the nature of that speech.”

Museum curator Simon Albrechtson said, “This is a remarkable gesture that guarantees the future of the facility for the forseeable future, allowing us to protect and showcase our extensive collection of artwork.”

Police have also taken Professor Wallace Grant, who led the educational trip, into protective custody.
